Works on this project started in August 2010 and up till now 50% is done. This includes cleaning the 144” pipe and mounting and testing 8” pipe which is connected to nozzles.

Importance of this project is that by removing sea deposits from pipe walls and by mounting chlorination supply any further recurrence of marine sediment is prevented and facilitated work of water pumps is provided. To ensure all this pipe joints segments are filled with subcom material.
